JOSEPH GINEX
MANAGING DIRECTOR, DEVELOPMENT


As Managing Director of Development at Hidrock Properties, Joseph Ginex
oversees Hidrock’s entire development portfolio and serves as the liaison
on new development investments between Hidrock and its investors and
lenders. He provides guidance in evaluating new development opportunities
and manages the development team after acquisition. Ginex orchestrates
the business plan for the company's developments and tailors project teams
based on specific uses and project complexity. He is integral to negotiating 
joint ventures with new equity partners and assists in securing financing and negotiating construction loans for Hidrock’s development projects. 

Prior to joining Hidrock, Ginex was the Vice President at SDS Investments,
where he was responsible for acquisitions and project management for the
company’s development projects, which were valued in excess of $4.5 billion
upon stabilization. Ginex simultaneously served as Director of Acquisitions
for SDS’ partner, the Sapir Organization, where he was directly involved in
construction financing and refinancing worth more than $1.5 billion for the
company’s office and development properties. During that time, Ginex also
oversaw the development of the William Beaver House and the Trump SoHo
Hotel. Prior to joining SDS Investments Ginex was Assistant Vice President
at Acadia Realty Trust, a publicly traded shopping center REIT.

During his tenure at Acadia, he was involved in more than $400 million in
acquisitions and redevelopments. Ginex was the point person for underwriting
and overseeing the acquisition process for the company’s Urban/In-fill retail
investments, which were projected to have a residual value in excess of
$210 million.

Ginex earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from
Brooklyn College and a master’s degree in business administration from
New York University’s Stern School of Business.
